Her flight came in at noon and Keegan has left to pick her up from the airport! I get to meet my third mom! Finally my life will feel complete and I can carry out all my dreams and aspirations!
We have been counting down the days until her mother's arrival! Now it is finally here. It is like Christmas in..... September!

For the next few days our blog posts will be documenting the most intense adventures with Keegan's mom. So don't you dare miss out
First, I apologize that it has been awhile! I know that you all have desperately and anxiously been waiting for our next post. Well wait no longer!! The new post starts NOW!!
I don't think we are in Washington any longer, Toto.
Here in Oregon you get 5 cents per recycled item!! How crazy is that! I am soo sooo excited to recycle. I have been collecting all of the boys and other girls pop cans and water bottles in my room! I can't wait to recycle them all and become a millionaire!
Recycling day!!!!!!!! RECYCLING DAY!!!! I AM SOOOO EXCITED...
What the heck!?!?
I only got a $1.90 for all my laborous saving?
What can I say.. I was pretty devastated that I only got a $1.90.
But then it HIT ME..........

I am so overjoyed and bewildered at the fact that I can share shoes with my roommate Keegan!
All my life has been filled with disappoint at the fact that I have had "Claud hopper" feet. While all my other friends wear petite, hobbit, 6-8 size shoes I have to go and wear size 10-11 times infinity size shoes! When shopping with Keegan we decided to take a detour down the shoe isle. It took me by surprise that we both traveled down the same shoe size row!
I finally have someone that I can borrow shoes from! We complete each other like ham and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, blue and green, Christmas and July, watermelon and chicken, Tiger and jumping, easy-mac and breakfast, Will and guitars, Scott and Denmark, Josh and his tractors, Megan and running, rabbits and carrots, Nutria and... gross, rain and Oregon, Grass and ground, Keegan and Lindsey and awesomeness!
So, as much as we love dear old NCU and her ever faithful cafeteria, we decided that tonight was a night for pie! (And not for "mexican" food or mystery fish) We needed some calorie intake. Apparently I have been deprived of proper pie my entire life because in AZ we don't have Sharis Restaurant. (We have Perkin's which is practically the same thing but whatever) So in order to become a full-fledged Oregonian (well, without driving a Prius, having an Obama bumper sticker, or having hemp clothing) I had to try some Sharis pie. Turns out it was some awesome pie. I had the chocolate creme, Lindsey had chocolate peanut butter (Josh: It's like a reeses peanut butter cup but pie!) Will had Marion Berry and with some persuasion, Josh had a nice slice of cherry pie. Oh, and Will had a milkshake that was too intense to finish. Afterward, we were so stuffed that we all had food babies! (Will is demonstrating in the last photo, usually he's not that obese) In conclusion, pie is amazing, the school cafeteria should offer dessert every now and then, and Will is prego. Thank you and goodnight.
While exploring the great Oregonian wilderness I stumbled upon the ravenous species, the nutria. This native beast is half rat and half beaver. I have been informed that in the olden days when beaver pelt were in high demand mankind decided that by breeding a rat and a beaver they would be able to get more pelts at a quicker rate. Upon observing these creatures in their natural habitat I discovered that they have extremely long tails such as that of the rat and webbed feet like that of a beaver. Although my journey was tough and life-threatening, I persevered through the danger and turmoil to bring you this video.
P.S. This was only a baby nutria. The mother is the size of a beaver.
As you can imagine because of our excitement upon receiving Steve, Keegan and I were devastated to find him belly side up only a day later. **tear, tear** We are still grieiving greatly and would appreciate any comforting words, embracing hugs, food, or money you have to offer (remember we are college students you know.. geez.. give us a break.. we have to mooch as much as we can.. don't judge, don't judge)
Steve the fish was greatly loved and will always be remembered. His ONE DAY living with the best roommates ever was the best time of his life and made great impact on all those that he came into contact with. The way he floated, chilled and swam inspired all of us to live life to the fullness, taking life as it comes.
